Uganda's coffee exports and revenue show double-digit growth

According to a report released by the Uganda Ministry of Agriculture, from November 2024 to October 2025, Uganda exported a total of 8.4 million bags of coffee (60 kg per bag), earning $2.4 billion in export revenue, representing increases of 47% and 77%, respectively, compared with 5.8 million bags and $1.3 billion during the same period last year. In 2025, Uganda exported 685,720 bags of coffee, generating $185.56 million in export revenue. This included 597,925 bags of Robusta coffee, worth $151.51 million, and 87,795 bags of Arabica coffee, valued at $3.404 million. Compared to the same period last year, coffee export volumes and revenue grew by 38% and 33%, respectively. Robusta coffee increased by 31% in volume and 19% in revenue, while Arabica coffee rose by 117% in volume and 182% in revenue.
